Nerves, blood vessels, wind pipe, etc…No one is more familiar with the complexities of surgery in this area than our surgeons.
These glands can develop growths which can be cancerous an they can also cause the gland to severe too much hormone. In these cases, surgical treatment is sometime necessary to remove the problem.

Growths on the salivary gland or blockage of salivary gland secretions are common problems. Some of these problems can be treated with medications, but often they require surgery to diagnose and treat. Salivary gland surgery can be difficult due to nerves and blood vessels within or around the glands that make the surgery difficult and tedious.
Our surgeons are trained and experienced to deal with these issues and we do so every day. Whether it is infections within the glands, stones blocking the secretions, or growths within the glands, our physicians can work with you to diagnose and treat these issues.
